Dinghy Regatta Five Mobile

I bought this mobile more than forty years ago, when my older son was a baby. We still have it, but the sails are now sepia with age. I was pleased to learn that Flensted still makes it, so now my new granddaughter will have one of her own to pass down until the sails become the color of tea. But it will still work, and beautifully!

This is a beautifully constructed, colorful made to last mobile! I have had mine for 22 years and this seemed like just the right graduation gift for my great niece, who is an expert sailor .She was thrilled with her mobile and I highly recommend this for any adult who loves boating and the water!

I was not sure what to expect when I ordered this in terms of size and quality but this piece did not dissapoint! Its beautifully crafted and I love how its counterbalanced so that it continuously moves even with the slightest of breezes or touching. (The floor vent below actually pushes enough air upward for it to continuously move.) The actual sailboats are approximately just 3" wide by 3" tall but they are perfect for our son's nautical themed nursery. The cost is high but it has a hand crafted feel that is worth the price.

The mobile is exactly how it looks in the pictures! I love it. We hung it in my sons room(way out of his reach), he is 15 months old. We find him gazing at it often and it's a great addition to his room. Also, love the shadows it casts!
